The DEVICES consortium successfully held an online transnational meeting on 26-27 May 2026, bringing together partners from Vietnam, Cambodia, Italy, Spain and Poland to review progress, plan upcoming activities, and coordinate the next stages of project implementation. The meeting, originally planned at Battambang University, Cambodia, demonstrated the consortium’s strong commitment to achieving project objectives, particularly at a time when global air traffic disruptions linked to the situation in the Middle East were creating significant challenges for international mobility. Thanks to the effective use of digital collaboration tools and the dedication of all partners, project activities continued without interruption and important decisions were successfully taken.
During the meeting, partners reviewed the overall state of implementation of the DEVICES project, particularly successful submission of project deliverables. Partners also discussed upcoming reporting obligations and key deliverables planned for the coming months.
A major part of the discussions focused on Work Package 3 and the ongoing piloting of the DEVICES e-portfolio platform. Encouraging results were reported from Vietnam, where student engagement has exceeded initial expectations. Partners also exchanged experiences regarding challenges encountered during implementation and agreed on measures to further support platform adoption across all participating institutions.
The consortium also discussed Work Package 4, dedicated to the development of innovative Career Management Skills (CMS) learning solutions. European partners are currently identifying best practices in CMS education, while Vietnamese and Cambodian universities are conducting surveys among students, academic staff, employers, and career advisors. The results will provide valuable evidence for the preparation of the CMS Framework and future training materials aimed at strengthening student employability competencies.
The meeting concluded with the confirmation of the upcoming transnational meetings to be hosted in Poland, Cambodia, and Vietnam between October 2026 and September 2027. These events will provide further opportunities to review progress, share experiences, and ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
